Yes, husky rides just like in Lapland. And cheaper, and not just a bit. Just 30 km from Vilnius. Take the chance.

1. HUSKY RIDE / 1 - 2 hours

After a short drive by car (30 km from Vilnius), we arrive at the Husky Farm, where the barking of the enthusiastic dogs welcomes you to the safari. You will be given tuition on how to control the sledge that you ride in pairs (musher and passenger). The journey in the winding routes through the forest will allow you forget any daily routine and melt in the nature. When returning to the Husky Farm, you will savour hot coffee or tea and chat with the farm head about these amazing northern animals.

2. A DAY IN A HUSKY FARM / 8 hours

10:00 arrive to the Husky farm. Welcome by the hosts and friendly barking huskies. Thorough instructions on harnessing and and off we go for a husky safari. Winding forest paths are waiting your sled.
12:00 after a thrilling ride we stop for lunch. A fire and tea or coffee will warm you up; home-made rolls are just the meal you need in a wilderness.
13h30 time to head home (approx 10 km).
14h30 return to the farm, take care of your new friends, they joyfull huskies.
15h30 the ancient countryside oven is the right way to cook the meal for this day.
18h00 end of the visit, a big "Good-bye" to hosts and the huskies.

3. HALF-A-DAY IN A HUSKY FARM / 5 hours

 If there is not enough snow, the special wheeled sled is used;

Recommendations for your clothing:
Underwear: “breathable” material, e.g. thermal underwear.
Socks: cotton socks worn under woollen socks.
Trousers: loose-fitting, fleece, cotton or similar.
Shirt: loose-fitting, high collar, cotton or similar.
Sweater: wool, fleece or similar.

Shoes: make sure your winter shoes/boots are loose enough.
Overall: as if for skiing.

Skiing glasses also recommended.
